Www.VideoVixens.Net is a promotional website that is going to focus on veteran video models that have been featured in major music videos that are on regular rotation BET, MTV and VH-1. You see images of these beautiful woman on your television screen everyday but now I am going to give you the opportunity to get to know them better and see that there is really "more than meets the eye". (Examples of video vixens are Melyssa Ford, Lyric, The Glenn Twins, Simone Baptiste, Azzareya Curtis, Esther Baxter, Chessika Cartwright etc.) Eventually I want my site to feature up and coming girls who wish to be featured in a major music video but for now I'm going to focused on already established models.
My goal and vision is to showcase these very talented and beautiful models and their impact in the music video, film, and entertainment business. I totally respect the hard work, struggle and accomplishments that has launched all these VIDEO VIXENS across the United States, Canada, and around the world. Music videos provide women who are shapely, have curves and might not be tall enough to be a runway model an avenue where they can shine, be a star, and gain exposure that can ulitimately lead to a life changing experience. KD Aubert was featured in Fabolous's "So Into You" and "Trade It All" videos before Ice Cube cast her as his love interest in Friday After Next and she can currently be found starring opposite Usher in "In The Mix". Leila Arcieri was featured in Q-Tips "Vivarant Thing" video and it ultimately lead to her being cast in one of the lead roles in the television show "Son Of The Beach" and most recently she starred in the 2005 movie "King's Ransom". Jada Pinkett-Smith got one of her first big breaks when she was featured in the late Tupac Shakur's "Keep Your Head Up" video and you know how successful she is today. I mention these ladies accomplishments because it speaks volumes of what can happen when a person in a position of power actually is able to see your face. I'm going to be launching my international website in Janaury 2006 and it is my hope to help aspiring models get an opportunity to be seen and get an opportunity to shine.
